Your Dream Home.

Perfected in Every Detail.

If you can dream it, we’ll build it.

Expand your space. Enhance your lifestyle. Unlock your property’s potential.

At Colibri Construction Kitchen & Bath, we specialize in designing and building Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) that add real value—whether you're creating space for family, generating rental income, or maximizing your lot’s use. We also guide homeowners through the legalization of existing unpermitted ADUs, helping bring your space up to code and into compliance with local regulations.

Our Design + Build process makes it simple and seamless, from concept to keys.

1. Initial Consultation

We begin by learning your goals—whether it’s a detached studio, garage conversion, or second-story unit—and reviewing your property's potential. We also discuss the legal status of any existing unit if you're seeking legalization.

2. Site Visit & Feasibility Assessment

Our team visits the site to assess zoning, access, utility connections, existing structures, and setback requirements. For unpermitted ADUs, we evaluate the current conditions and outline what’s needed to bring the space up to code.

3. Design Development + Planning

We create tailored floor plans and 3D renderings that bring your vision to life. Whether new construction or legalizing an existing unit, we focus on smart layout, code compliance, comfort, and aesthetic harmony with your main home.

4. Permitting & Approvals

We handle all city submittals, including architectural plans, structural calculations, and Title 24 energy reports. For existing units, we prepare and submit the necessary documentation to legalize the space and obtain final approval.

5. Construction or Code Compliance Work

Our licensed team brings your ADU to life—or brings your unpermitted one up to code. From foundation and framing to finishes and final inspections, every phase is managed by an experienced project lead for quality, timeline, and budget control.

6. Final Inspections & Turnover

We coordinate final inspections and ensure all work passes with flying colors. You’ll receive a completed, clean, move-in-ready ADU—fully legal and built to last.
